Job summary

RE:LAB is seeking a UI Design Intern to support the development of digital interfaces for mobility applications and industrial systems.

The selected candidate will contribute to the visual design of Human–Machine Interfaces (HMI), working on layouts, graphical components, visual concepts, and interactive solutions. This 6‑month, full‑time internship is onsite in Reggio Emilia with a monthly reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Design, Communication Design, Interaction Design, Digital Design, or related disciplines.
• Proficient in Figma for UI design and prototyping.
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong visual design skills with creativity and aesthetic sense.
• Solid understanding of typography, composition, colors, and visual hierarchy.
• Interest in UI Design and Human–Machine Interaction.
• Ability to develop graphical concepts and communicate design ideas.
• Attention to detail and consistency in visual design.
• Curious, eager to learn, and able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Posizione:

To strengthen our Design & HMI division, we are looking for a UI Design Intern to support the development of digital interfaces for mobility applications and industrial systems.

The selected candidate will contribute to the visual design of Human–Machine Interfaces (HMI), working on layouts, graphical components, visual concepts, and interactive solutions.

The internship offers the opportunity to apply creative and technical design skills to real projects, collaborating with experienced UI/UX designers and multidisciplinary teams.

We are looking for a creative, curious, and detail-oriented designer with a strong visual sensibility, a passion for digital interfaces, and an interest in exploring how people interact with technology.

Main Activities

• Support the design and development of User Interfaces (UI) for mobility and industrial applications.
• Create graphical layouts, screens, icons, and visual assets for digital interfaces.
• Develop UI concepts and visual solutions using Figma.
• Support the creation and evolution of design systems, components, and graphical libraries.
• Create and refine visual assets using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Contribute to the definition of visual styles, typography, colors, and interface consistency.
• Support the development of interactive prototypes and interface presentations.
• Collaborate with UX designers and software developers to translate functional requirements into effective visual solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and creative development activities.

Requisiti

• Master's degree in Design, Communication Design, Interaction Design, Digital Design, or related disciplines.
• Good knowledge of Figma for UI design and prototyping.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong visual design skills, creativity, and aesthetic sensibility.
• Good understanding of typography, composition, colors, and visual hierarchy.
• Interest in User Interface Design and Human–Machine Interaction.
