Job summary

RE:LAB s.r.l. invites an Automotive R&D Engineer to contribute to innovative research projects in mobility and emerging technologies.

The role combines technical research, analysis, experimentation, and development of new project concepts, collaborating with universities and research partners in a dynamic, human-centered design environment. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering and shows strong analytical skills, curiosity, and a passion for scientific research

Posizione:

To strengthen our Research & Development team, we are looking for an Automotive R&D Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative research projects in the fields of mobility and emerging technologies.

The selected candidate will be involved in research activities exploring future mobility solutions, intelligent vehicle systems, and innovative technological applications, including quantum computing and advanced computational approaches.

The role combines technical research, analysis, experimentation, and the development of new project concepts, working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, universities, and research partners.

We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong academic background in Vehicle Engineering and a genuine inclination toward research and innovation.

The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and motivated to investigate new technologies, explore innovative solutions, and contribute to the development of research initiatives.

• Contribute to the development of research and innovation projects in the automotive and mobility sectors.

Requisiti:

• Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or closely related engineering disciplines.
• Solid understanding of vehicle systems, automotive technologies, and mobility engineering.
• Strong interest in Research & Development, scientific research, and technological innovation.
• Analytical mindset and ability to approach complex technical problems systematically.
• Interest in exploring new technologies and multidisciplinary research topics.
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific information and translate it into project activities.
• Good organizational skills and ability to contribute to research planning and documentation.
• Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to develop new technical competencies.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and research partners.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in academic or industrial research activities, including research fellowships, scholarships, PhD programs, or collaborations with university research groups.
• Participation in research and innovation projects, including national or European funded initiatives.
