ABB è alla ricerca di un/una ingegnere elettronico/automazione con esperienza in controlli turbine per guidare progetti locali e collaborare con diverse funzioni. Il ruolo richiede disponibilità a partecipare in italia e all’estero, conoscenza di DCS/I&C e una forte attenzione alle norme di sicurezza.

La posizione prevede orario ibrido con retribuzione annuale minima di 48.000 €. Verrà valutato l’adattamento al mercato e al profilo, con eventuale bonus legato a produttività aziendale.

Competenze

• Diploma tecnico o laurea in Ingegneria Elettrica o Automazione.
• Almeno 3 anni di esperienza in controllo turbine o automazione industriale.
• Esperienza con automazione, DCS, I&C e sistemi di protezione.
• Conoscenza delle norme di sicurezza e dei requisiti contrattuali.
• Disponibilità a viaggiare per commissioning in Italia e all’estero.
• Buona conoscenza di inglese e italiano.

Mansioni

• Pianificare ed eseguire progetti locali di linee di business per turbine e sistemi correlati.
• Coordinare l’ingegneria tra più progetti di turbine e fornire supporto tecnico a testing, installazione e commissioning.
• Progettare e condurre esperimenti, analizzare dati e preparare documenti di progetto.
• Migliorare l’efficacia dei piani di lavoro in collaborazione con altre funzioni.
• Assicurare conformità alle norme di sicurezza e ai requisiti contrattuali.

Your role and responsibilities

• Plan and ensure execution of Local Business Line projects for ST/ GTs Turbine Control.
• Complete assignments on multiple Turbine Control System projects of moderate size or portions of major projects, cost- effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safetyThe work model for the role is: #LI-hybridIn this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: Coordinating engineering discipline across several Turbine projects, provides technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities.
• Designing and conducting experiments, analyzes and interprets data, prepares complete project documents in one’s area of responsibility.
• Improving effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions.
• Collaborating with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed to with potential suppliers.
• Providing technical evaluation of supplier proposals and accepts as fit for purpose supplied equipment or services.
• Developing, selecting and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools.
• Ensuring that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements.
• Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc).
• Creating work plans and cost estimates in one’s area of responsibility.
• Reviewing and approving scope, budget and schedule for assignments and ensures quality deliveries on time and within targeted cost.

Qualifications

• You have a technical diploma or a Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Steam/Gas Turbine control applications and projects or in Industrial Automation.
• You have technical experience working with Automation and Electrical products and solutions in the Oil & Gas and/or Power Generation domains. Previous experience with Automation projects involving Turbine OEMs is a plus.
• You have a strong background in Automation, including DCS, Instrumentation & Control (I&C), and Protection systems. Knowledge of ABB Control Systems is considered a plus.
• You have a general understanding of network engineering and IT/IS, including PC handling, Windows applications, PC configurations, virus scanners, interfaces, backups, and cybersecurity.
• You have strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications and related business and engineering software such as CAD/AUTOCAD, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
• You have a customer-focused mentality that fosters strong relationships and long‑term commitments, both internally and externally to ABB.
• You have availability to participate in commissioning activities, both in Italy and abroad, if and when required.
• You are at ease communicating in both English and Italian.

Compensation Package

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico Minimum annual salary: 48.000Variable Pay: AIP target 5% + Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus The offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.
