ABB in Italia cerca un Production Engineering Manager per guidare le attività di ottimizzazione della produzione, migliorare i metodi di assemblaggio, i processi e le attrezzature in linea con qualità, efficienza e sicurezza. Il ruolo prevede definire fasi di lavoro per nuovi processi e gestire investimenti su impianti e costi.

In questo ruolo si lavora per ridurre ore lavorate e costi, con attenzione al rispetto delle tempistiche e delle specifiche.

Competenze

• Laurea in Ingegneria Industriale, Meccanica o di Produzione.
• 2 anni di esperienza in ambiente manifatturiero sono un plus.
• Conoscenza di Lean manufacturing, miglioramento continuo e ottimizzazione dei processi di produzione.

Mansioni

• Identificare e proporre opportunità di miglioramento e realizzare progetti di miglioramento, rispettando tempi, qualità e costi.
• Approvare i progetti di processo sviluppati internamente o esternamente e condurre test finali.
• Fornire supporto alla Produzione durante avviamento di processi/impianti, definire piani d’azione e formare risorse di manutenzione e produzione.
• Valutare nuove tecnologie di processo per migliorare produttività, qualità e riduzione dei costi.

Your Role And Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.

Role

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

• Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.
• Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project.
• Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.
• Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.

Qualifications For The Role

• You have a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is considered a plus.
• You have strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production process optimization.
• You are skilled in using ERP systems and production planning tools, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• You are a collaborative team player, adaptable to change, and comfortable working in cross-functional environments.
• You are at ease communicating in both English and Italian, effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation Package

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico

Minimum annual salary: € 36.000,00

Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus

The offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills, and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.
