Qualcomm Europe, Inc. Italy Branch Office is seeking a People Strategy and Organization professional focused on Total Rewards to implement and administer compensation and benefits programs across the EMEA region.

The role reports to the Total Rewards Lead and collaborates with COE teams to deliver consistent total rewards services. You will support annual reviews, salary benchmarking, and benefits enrollments, while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate data.

Competenze

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Compensation, Benefits, or related work experience.
  • Associate's degree and 4+ years of Compensation, Benefits, or related work experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Compensation, Benefits, or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Mansioni

  • Manage end-to-end compensation benchmarking and maintain salary ranges for the assigned geographies.
  • Conduct ad-hoc salary analyses and compensation studies to maintain internal and external parity within employees including new hires and internal transfers.
  • Support the process of conducting bi-annual employee data audits to ensure that employees are in the correct job codes.
  • Support the execution of Annual review cycle including salary increases, bonuses, and RSU awards.
  • Handle and resolve employee inquiries, and respond to escalated compensation issues within SLA.
  • Assist senior leadership in retaining critical talent by means of retention analysis.
  • Partner with Compensation Community of Practice on the execution of any compensation philosophy and program changes.
  • Support in policy and process execution, and communication.
  • Manage and resolve employee compensation queries through service now portal.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Coordinate with benefits vendors and brokers to manage annual enrollments, and changes.
  • Implement employee wellness programs to promote health and well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage reporting and documentation related to benefits.
  • Responsible for processing and managing employee leave of absence requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws, and maintaining accurate records of all leave transactions.
  • Handle and resolve employee inquiries, and respond to escalated benefits issues within SLA
  • Support in policy and process execution, and communication
  • Manage and resolve employee benefits queries through service now portal.

General Summary

The People Strategy and Organization – Total Rewards role will be responsible for implementation and administration of Qualcomm's compensation and benefits programs for the assigned geography/region/countries (EMEA). This role reports into the Total Rewards Lead in People Strategy and Organization team and works in strong partnership with the Compensation and Benefits Communities of Practice (COE-Centre of Excellence) team. The incumbent should have experience in working with global teams and matrix structure for seamless delivery of total rewards services

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Compensation

  • Manage end-to-end compensation benchmarking and maintain salary ranges for the assigned geographies, including survey submission, analyzing survey results, and market pricing by role.
  • Conduct ad-hoc salary analyses and compensation studies to maintain internal and external parity within employees including new hires and internal transfers, and share the findings with the leadership
  • Support the process of conducting bi-annual employee data audits to ensure that employees are in the correct job codes
  • Support the execution of Annual review cycle including salary increases, bonuses, and RSU awards
  • Handle and resolve employee inquiries, and respond to escalated compensation issues within SLA

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Compensation, Benefits, or related work experience.

Minimum preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Compensation, Benefits, or related work experience
Preferred qualifications
  • 2- 4 years of Compensation, Benefits Consulting, Benefits Administration (Employer or Vendor) or related work experience. Multicounty experience will be an added advantage
  • 2- 4 years of utilizing Compensation and Benefits-related systems/tools (e.g., Advanced Excel, Workday, Tech Industry Surveys, etc.)
  • Experience in utilizing Workday/SuccessFactors/Global ERP/ Service Now at operational level
  • Proficiency in compensation and benefits methodologies from leading survey providers such as Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson (WTW), Aon
  • Understanding of global/regional/country specific labor regulatory environments
  • Certification in compensation and benefits programs is preferable, or plan to obtain
  • Understanding and experience of multi country compensation and benefits programs in EMEA
  • Mandatory language skills - English plus any other European language (EMEA Specific)
Physical Requirements
  • Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
  • Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits

€37,200.00 - €56,400.00 annual (Gross)

The above pay range reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay range for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. This range includes two additional months of pay as part of the annual salary. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
