Job summary

Formlabs Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician/Engineer based in Milan, Italy, with 80%+ travel. You will install, commission, calibrate 3D printing systems and lead on-site training for customers.

You will perform break-fix, preventative maintenance, and live product demonstrations, while documenting work in Salesforce and managing travel arrangements. Strong electromechanical skills and English/Italian fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Italian (C1–C2).
• Strong technical background in electromechanical hardware.
• Willingness to travel 80%+ and be on the road.
• Valid driver’s license (B).
• 4 year STEM degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and calibrate new 3D printing systems on-site.
• Provide structured on-site user training and demonstrations.
• Perform break-fix and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Manage travel logistics and document installations and repairs in Salesforce.
