Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Field Service Technician/Engineer to lead on-site installations, training, and repairs for customers in Italy. The role involves extensive travel (80%+), installation commissioning, and hands-on support to ensure customers can operate and maintain 3D printing systems.

You will train users, perform demos, and manage service visits, with a strong emphasis on documentation in Salesforce. English and Italian fluency required, STEM degree preferred, and a valid B license.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree - preferably STEM degree.
• Fluency in English and Italian (C1-C2).
• Valid driver's license (B) is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and commission new 3D printing systems on-site.
• Train customers on operation, software, and maintenance.
• Perform live product demonstrations.
• Provide rapid on-site repairs and downtime support.
• Schedule and perform annual preventative maintenance within the 90-day target.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical issues to achieve single-visit resolutions.
• Manage high visit volume and travel logistics.
• Document installations, trainings, and repairs in Salesforce.
