Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Field Service Technician for Italy with primary duties in Milan and nationwide travel. You will lead on-site installation, commissioning, and training for Formlabs systems, then perform maintenance and repairs as required.

The role requires frequent travel (80%+), strong mechanical skills, and the ability to train customers effectively. Based in Milan or nearby, you will coordinate with customers, document activities, and ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Strong electromechanical/hardware background.
• Fluency in English and Italian (C1-C2).
• Valid driver’s license (B).

Responsibilities

• Installation & Customer Training (On-Site): Install, commission and calibrate 3D printing systems and train customers on operation and software.
• Break-Fix & Maintenance (On-Site): Provide rapid response, perform repairs, and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Logistics & Reporting: Manage travel plans and document installations, trainings, and repairs in Salesforce.
