Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Team Leader Thermal in Piove di Sacco, Italy to manage high-performance HVAC projects and drive thermodynamic design across global products. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure NPDI compliance, and coordinate with engineering, marketing, and procurement to deliver cost-efficient, innovative solutions.

The role requires a Master’s in Mechanical/Energy Engineering and 10+ years in HVAC, with strong leadership, problem-solving, and English communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the project team for the development of new products.
• Lead the design of new products or re-engineer existing ones with cross-functional teams.
• Take operational responsibility for thermodynamic design and performance calculations.
• Ensure adherence to the NPDI process.
• Develop reporting/tracking for project schedule and cost.
• Identify risks and implement contingency plans.
• Communicate with managers, vendors and other plants as needed.
• Support product production transfer and BOM management.
• Deliver fast, customer-focused responses on engineered-to-order projects.
