Siemens Energy Transformers S.r.l. in Trento is seeking a Head of the Pre-Assembly Department to lead daily operations for power transformer components, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will develop and empower shopfloor teams, drive performance across safety, quality, delivery and efficiency. You will collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Logistics to create a seamless production environment aligned with customer commitments and factory priorities.

Competenze

• A technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• 5-7 years in industrial manufacturing environments, preferably in production or operational leadership.
• Proven experience leading blue-collar teams in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes and Lean Manufacturing mindset.
• Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making and stakeholder management.

• Lead and coordinate all pre-assembly operations, ensuring alignment with production plans and factory priorities.
• Manage, coach, and develop shopfloor teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance.

What You Bring

• A technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Electromechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical background.
• 5-7 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments, preferably in production or operational leadership roles.
• Proven experience in leading blue-collar teams in a structured manufacturing environment, particularly in electromechanical or transformer manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes, production workflows, and quality requirements, along with a Lean Manufacturing mindset.
• Fluent in Italian and English, with additional languages considered a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, conflict management, and stakeholder management skills.

The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between € 45.000 – € 55.000 gross per year.

Salary ranges for this role are provided in accordance with applicable local legislation. The stated range is based on the Italian labour market.
