Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Leader for Days at Liverpool Leathers Lane Express. You will lead the team to deliver a great in-store experience, coaching colleagues and coordinating across store areas to answer day‑to‑day queries.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent customer service, and adaptability to changing conditions. Tesco offers flexible schedules, 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what were looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

You will need

• To be over 18 for this role.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customers needs are met.
• Build positive, long-lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
