Job summary

ConMed is seeking a Territory Manager for the Orthopedics/Sport Medicine team in Italy to promote and sell our portfolio to private and public customers across the assigned territory. You will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and lead product promotions, tender responses and field demonstrations.

The role requires a scientific degree, 3–5 years of outside medical device sales, a proven quota record, and strong English.

Qualifications

• Degree in scientific disciplines or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of outside medical device sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota and growth.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Implement the territory strategy (Lombardia) through appropriate commercial actions to reach targets.
• Interface with key decision makers to provide essential technical/commercial support.
• Carry out product promotion activities to increase business and tenders.
• Know and manage the tender process from pre-tender to post-tender with relevant departments.
• Use and update the CRM daily to monitor projects and alignment with progress.
• Carry out installations and commissioning.
• Hold seminars and demos on client premises.
• Collaborate in new product launches in the field.

JOB DESCRIPTION - As a Territory Manager on our Orthopedics/Sport Medicine team, you will be able to offer your customers a full range of products and solutions with a high technological profile. In your role, you will work closely to your Regional Sales Manager and you will be responsible of promoting and selling our Orthopedics and Sport Medicine product portfolio to both private and public customers in the assigned territory. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement the strategy identified for the territory (Lombardia) through the application of appropriate commercial actions, identifying and developing new business opportunities with the aim of reaching and exceeding the turnover and profit targets.
• Interface with key decision makers, guaranteeing the technical/commercial support necessary to satisfy the customer and maximize sales.
• Carry out product promotion activities in order to increase business and contribute to the award of contracts and tenders in their area of competence.
• Know and manage the tender process in its entirety, from the pre-tender phase to the post-tender phase, involving the various departments concerned at the appropriate times (Regional Sales Manager, Marketing, Logistics, etc.).
• Use and update the CRM on a daily basis, ensuring the correct monitoring of projects and constant alignment of the systems to the actual progress of work.
• Carry out installations and commissioning.
• Hold seminars and demos on client premises.
• Collaborate in new product launches in the field.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in scientific disciplines or equivalent, 3-5 years of experience in outside medical device sales.
• Proven track rack record of meeting or exceeding quota and growth.
• Good command of written and spoken English
