Mercor seeks a native Telugu speaker to contribute to a training data project focused on Telugu documents. You will annotate and transcribe complex PDFs, ensuring precise script fidelity, multi-column layouts, and handwritten content is captured exactly.

You will record metadata and reading order, with emphasis on component typing and strict quality control through supervised reviews. This role suits a meticulous professional with document editing or localization experience.

Competenze

• Native Telugu speaker with full command of the Telugu script.
• Experience with document annotation, transcription, localization or QA.
• Meticulous with high character-level accuracy.

Mansioni

• Source publicly accessible Telugu PDFs containing multimodal elements.
• Identify and bound every meaningful region on the page and assign component types and reading order.
• Record relationships between regions and their parent figures or tables.
• Transcribe Telugu text exactly, flagging illegible regions.
• Record page metadata: language, document type, source, page dimensions, and handwriting/diagrams flags.
• Review a colleague's work in a second Telugu expert review process.
