Saipem is seeking a Telecommunication & Security Systems Engineer to join the ENERGY CARRIERS unit in Milan. You will drive design from estimation through detail engineering for onshore and offshore projects, focusing on innovative telecom and security solutions and coordinating with multiple disciplines.

You will review client requirements, draft specifications, and monitor vendor designs while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with schedules.

Competenze

• Five years of experience as Telecommunication and Security Systems Engineer in energy sector (Power, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Renewable, Floaters).
• Proficient in CCTV, PA/GA, RADIO, ACS, IDS, FO, SCS, VTS, LAN & WLAN.
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity requirements and energy industry digital design tools.

Mansioni

• Review client technical documentation and requirements.
• Develop telecom and security system specifications, block diagrams, layouts, BoQ/MTO.
• Prepare material/service requisitions and evaluate bids with technical alignment.
• Monitor vendor design development and verify documentation against project requirements and schedule; participate in FAT/SAT.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews and support other disciplines with technical evaluations and risk assessments.
• Plan and coordinate internal/external activities, monitor progress, implement corrective actions.
• Optimize designs for cost and safety, conduct site engineering during construction and commissioning.
