DIKTON seeks a Technical Support Engineer – Hardware and Mechatronics to join the 4th Level Technical Support group. You will collaborate with R&D, Quality and Manufacturing to diagnose complex issues and develop service documentation, manuals, and training materials.

The role focuses on advanced diagnostics, field problem reproduction, and supporting new product introductions with cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality customer support globally.

Competenze

• Diploma/degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
• Experience troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics.
• Knowledge of sensors, motors, actuators, and automation systems.
• Structured approach to fault analysis and problem solving.
• Basic Windows OS and networking knowledge.
• Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory).
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.

• Manage hardware-related technical escalations from customers and international service organizations.

Our Client is a leading international Company operating in the Industrial sector and, in order to strengthen their Product Industrialization Department, they're looking for a Technical Support Engineer – Hardware and Mechatronics

Posizione:

The successful candidate will join the 4th Level Technical Support team and work closely with the Research & Development, Quality, and Manufacturing departments.

The main objective of the role is to provide specialist support for complex technical issues, contribute to continuous product improvement, and develop technical documentation for service organizations.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage hardware-related technical escalations from customers and international service organizations.
• Perform advanced diagnostics on electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of complex product issues.
• Reproduce and validate field-reported problems.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to define corrective actions.
• Support the introduction of new products and new product features.
• Create and maintain:
  • Service Manuals
  • Troubleshooting Guides

Requisiti:

• Technical diploma or degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics.
• Knowledge of sensors, motors, actuators, and automation systems.
• Structured approach to fault analysis and problem solving.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking.
• Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory requirement).
• Availability for travel within Italy and abroad.
