Job summary

MongoDB Inc. is seeking a Technical Services Engineer based in Milan for a hybrid role. You will solve complex database and cloud platform challenges, advise customers on architecture, performance, recovery, and security, and work with product teams to improve Atlas.

Collaboration, strong diagnostics, and multi-language communication are essential. You’ll engage with large customers and contribute to internal tooling and knowledge sharing to boost efficiency across teams.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in a technical support, solutions, or customer-facing engineering role
• Experience with distributed systems and database architecture
• Experience with Cloud platforms and mission-critical product applications
• Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills across app, DB, storage
• Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS)
• Fluent in Italian and English

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on architecture, performance, recovery, security and best practices
• Focus on performance of Atlas and its services, helping frontend and backend developers
• Share knowledge with peers via training, workshops, and knowledge-base documentation
• Interact with product management to represent customer needs and feedback
• Contribute to internal tools for performance, benchmarking and diagnostics
