Nordson Corporation seeks an on-site Field Service Engineer to support packaging equipment in the North-West Piedmont region. You will install, configure, maintain, and repair equipment, diagnose issues, and document actions while travelling extensively to meet commitments.

You will collaborate with Sales to identify service opportunities, ensure safety and compliance, and provide guidance and basic user training. Italian and English communication is essential for customer interactions.

In this role you provide on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Nordson Packaging equipment in the North-West Piedmont region. You work closely with customers to ensure reliable operation and high satisfaction, and you collaborate with Sales to identify service opportunities and support growth. The position requires strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and travel within the territory. You will contribute to delivering safe, compliant field service and shaping customer success across the region.

• Provide on-site technical support and service activities across the North-West Piedmont region
• Install, configure, maintain, and repair equipment per procedures
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system issues
• Document service actions and findings according to requirements
• Prioritize service requests to meet commitments
• Collaborate with Sales to identify service opportunities and support revenue targets

• Ensure safety, quality, and company policy compliance during field activities
• Maintain service tools, equipment, and inventory in good condition
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to product performance
• 3-5 years in industrial service or equipment installation
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Solid understanding of electromechanical, electronic, computer, and network-based systems
• Ability to read and apply technical documentation and service procedures
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills in Italian and English
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced field environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP C4C, and other service management/CRM tools
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Technical Support, Engineering, Operations, Sales)
• Willingness to travel (70–80%), including international travel when needed
