Experis S.r.l. cerca un Technical Chief Designer per guidare la progettazione di un’area veicolo completa, dalla concezione alla produzione, curando 3D, disegno tecnico e interfacce con fornitori.

Il candidato ideale possiede esperienza in motorsport o automotive ad alte prestazioni, padronanza di CATIA V5 e abilità nel guidare team, oltre a una forte attenzione a costi e tempi di progetto.

Competenze

• Fluent in technical automotive English.
• Proven experience in cross-functional design teams within motorsport or automotive environments.
• CATIA V5: Solid, Surface, Sheet Metal Design; Assembly Design and Drafting; FEA analysis.
• Strong ability to size and validate components based on load cases.
• Deep knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for high-performance automotive applications.
• Ability to adapt designs based on cost, timing, and project constraints.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work autonomously.

Technical Chief Designer

The person is a senior engineering professional responsible for leading the design and development of a complete vehicle area across the entire lifecycle, from concept to production. The role combines strong technical expertise with project leadership, ensuring high-performance, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions, while guiding and developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full design lifecycle of a complete vehicle area, from concept definition to final production release
• Oversee 3D modelling, detailed design, and technical drawing creation for components and assemblies
• Coordinate all phases of development, including initial assembly and testing activities
• Interface with suppliers and the purchasing department to optimise technical solutions and manufacturability
• Drive design decisions by balancing performance, cost, timing, and project priorities
• Mentor and support junior designers, fostering their professional growth within the team
• Produce and present technical documentation and progress reports to internal stakeholders
• Ensure quality standards and technical requirements are correctly defined and achieved

Mandatory Skills

• Fluent in technical automotive English

What we offer
