Baker Hughes is seeking a Logistics Specialist to oversee warehouse operations and coordinate across project managers, global supply chain, and vendors in the Gas Technology business.

The role emphasizes IT systems support (WMS/ERP), data analytics, and adoption of new technologies to improve efficiency, safety, and service levels. Fluency in Italian and English is required for seamless collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related areas.
• Good knowledge of logistics processes (transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Italian.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure accurate, timely order processing.
• Coordinate communication between project managers, global supply chain, logistics providers and vendors.
• Strategically plan logistics for each project to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness and service levels.
• Oversee IT systems supporting logistics, such as WMS and ERP solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies (AI, automation, IoT, blockchain) to improve operations.
