Atlas Copco in Robassomero, Italy, seeks a Team Leader Engineering Support to drive product maintenance, industrialization, and quality initiatives. You will coordinate a team to improve documentation, tooling and processes, aligning with design and industrialization goals.

The role requires an engineering degree, CAD/PLM experience, and strong English/Italian communication. You will influence project leaders and work closely with QA and Aftersales to ensure best-in-class products.

Competenze

• Engineering degree required; CAD tools, PLM, BOM experience preferred.

Are you ready to lead the product life cycle in a global company by contributing to the continuous improvement of products and the development of their industrialization?

We are seeking a Team Leader Engineering Support to join the Engineering team in our Product Company, focused on enhancing product maintenance processes, supporting Quality and Project execution, further developing the team within our Product Company, and increasing design effectiveness and industrialization efficiency.

Our Engineering Support Team serves as a bridge between Design and Industrialization, with the shared goal of ensuring a high level of technical documentation, safety, and quality of our machines to meet customer needs. We are committed to not only meeting but exceeding customer expectations across a wide range of air compressor applications, currently using piston, Oil Free scroll, and Oil Injected screw technologies, and aiming to develop future technologies for our products.

The Engineering Support Team consists of Product Engineers who continuously improve product quality, cost efficiency, and product maintenance tools, drawings, Bill of Material, and support the Process & Supplier Quality team through specific methodologies, collaboration, and tools.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the Engineering team for product maintenance, product trade compliance, identifying potential product improvements, and implementing continuous improvement approaches.

What will you be responsible for as Team Leader Engineering Support?

Being responsible for the development of appropriate tools and processes according to the introduction of new design items and machines, and the maintenance of the Current Portfolio.

Guaranteeing punctual documentation release of new products with the aim to optimize new design industrialization, actively supporting the Project Leaders of R&D.

Managing project priorities, continuous improvement tasks, and quality support to ensure that correct product specifications and technical documentation are followed up.

Participating actively and in a leading role in Product Quality meetings (PQM) and Project Committee meetings (PCM), to bring technical, quality, and cost opportunity projects from feasibility up to industrialization.

Being a strong contributor to Technical Committee Team improvement actions to support Aftersales and Quality Team of the Product Company. Drawings, BOMs, and Technical documentation need to be available, updated, and applied according to Harmonized Regulation.

Actively promoting proper maintenance of product groupings, CE documentation, trade compliance, and relevant directives, providing reliable reports to ensure that Atlas Copco’s products are designed, built, and maintained as best in class.

Electrical & Control System background and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Process knowledge and testing experience will be a plus.

Fluency in Italian and English.
