HONOR in Milan is seeking a motivated Tax Intern to join our Finance team. You will support VAT returns, Intrastat and Esterometro, and assist with daily tax administrative tasks while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-growing global technology brand.

The role requires current study in Economics/Finance/Law with a Tax focus, fluent English, and strong Excel skills; Mandarin/Italian a plus. Training and mentorship are provided in a dynamic, international environment.

Competenze

• Education: Recent graduate or current student pursuing Economics, Finance, or Law with a Tax focus.
• English proficiency (written and spoken) is mandatory; Mandarin and Italian are a plus.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) are advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of Italian tax system and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Mansioni

• Tax Compliance Support: assist in preparation and filing of VAT (IVA) returns, Intrastat declarations, and Esterometro.
• Documentation Management: organize and archive tax documents, invoices, and certificates.
• Research & Monitoring: track changes in Italian tax laws and summarize impacts.
• Direct Tax Assistance: support data gathering for IRES/IRAP filings and annual returns.
• Intercompany Transactions: maintain transfer pricing documentation.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with Accounting and Legal teams on reporting and tax treatments.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern to join our Finance team in Milan. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the tax operations of a fast-growing global technology brand. You will support the finance director in ensuring full compliance with Italian tax regulations and assisting with daily tax-related administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Compliance Support: Assist in the preparation and filing of periodic VAT (IVA) returns, Intrastat declarations, and Esterometro.
• Documentation Management: Support the collection, organization, and archiving of tax-related documents, invoices, and certificates to ensure audit readiness.
• Research & Monitoring: Assist in monitoring changes in Italian tax laws and regulations, providing summaries on how they may impact the company’s operations.
• Direct Tax Assistance: Support the team in gathering data for Corporate Income Tax (IRES/IRAP) filings and annual tax returns.
• Intercompany Transactions: Assist in maintaining documentation for transfer pricing and intercompany service agreements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Accounting and Legal departments to ensure consistency in financial reporting and tax treatments.

Requirements:

• Education: Recent graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Economics, Finance, Law (with a focus on Tax), or a related field.
• Languages: Proficiency in English is mandatory (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Mandarin and Italian is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). Familiarity with ERP systems (like SAP) is an advantage.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Italian tax system and accounting principles.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
