SANY Group is seeking a tax professional to manage and coordinate daily tax compliance for its Italian subsidiary in Torino. The role will involve VAT, IRES, IRAP, stamp duty, and withholding taxes, with collaboration across internal teams and external advisors.
You will monitor Italian tax changes, communicate risks, and support audits and tax documentation. Fluent English and Italian are required, with at least 3 years in corporate taxation and international exposure preferred.
1. Manage the daily tax compliance activities of the Italian subsidiary, including VAT, IRES, IRAP, stamp duty and withholding taxes, covering tax calculation, filing, payment and reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with Italian tax regulations.
2. Coordinate with external tax advisors and accounting firms, review their deliverables, and ensure the accuracy, completeness and quality of outsourced tax and accounting activities.
3. Monitor changes in Italian tax legislation and regulations, assess their impact on the company, and proactively identify and communicate potential tax compliance risks.
4. Support the company during tax audits and inspections, including preparing supporting documentation and communicating with the Italian tax authorities to address tax-related matters.
5. Support internal Finance and Business teams by assessing tax risks arising from daily business activities and cross-border transactions, and provide practical tax advice when required.
6. Perform regular tax risk reviews, identify and apply applicable tax incentives and preferential tax treatments, and support group financial closing and external audits by providing relevant tax information and documentation.
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Auditing, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of corporate tax experience, with solid knowledge of the Italian tax environment. Experience working in an international or European corporate environment is preferred.
3. Good knowledge of Italian tax regulations and tax compliance procedures, with the ability to independently manage routine tax calculations, filings and related tax matters.
4. Ability to monitor changes in local tax legislation and identify potential tax risks associated with business activities.
5. Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, external advisors and tax authorities.
6. Good command of English and Italian, both written and spoken.
