Job summary

ABB in Italy is seeking a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer to strengthen the Quality team and drive excellence in the supplier network. You will deploy supplier quality strategy, promote Quality Wins methods, plan audits, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with procurement and engineering to ensure suppliers meet quality requirements.

You will play a key role in deploying the supplier quality strategy, fostering a culture of quality, and ensuring robust systems, tools, and capabilities are in place to meet and exceed customer expectations. Your focus will be on ensuring supplier performance through prevention, continuous improvement, effective root cause analysis, and sustainable problem resolution. You will collaborate closely with procurement, engineering, and other relevant functions to ensure suppliers meet quality requirements and to support world-class operational performance.
