Saipem is seeking a Subsea Technology Pilot to join the Sonsub function within the Drilling and Sonsub Business Line. You will support manufacturing/testing of ROVs and mobilise drones on vessels while ensuring safety and technical compliance.

The role requires a High School Technical Diploma, 0-2 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Worldwide travel is expected with a hybrid work model and competitive benefits.

Purpose of the position:

As Subsea Technology Pilot you will be part of the Sonsub function in the Drilling and Sonsub Business Line, Saipem center of excellence in subsea robotics, and you will be involved in the following main activities:

• Support manufacturing and testing of new ROV’s / Subsea Drones
• Mobilise ROV’s / Subsea Drones onboard vessels in line with Projects requirements
• Carry out ROV’s / Subsea Drones offshore operations, ensuring technical and safety compliance
• Execute ROV’s / Subsea Drones maintenance to ensure the continuity of offshore operations, in compliance with safety procedures and regulations
• Fault finding on ROV’s / Subsea Drones mechanical / hydraulic / electronic / electrical / control sub-systems

What are we looking for?

• Education: High School Technical Diploma (mechanical / hydraulic / electronical / electrical)
• Background: 0-2 years’ experience in similar context
• Technical/IT Knowledge: Microsoft Office
• Some Worldwide travelling will be expected
