A leading software company is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Bologna, Italy. This role is vital for assisting users with structural analysis software and includes providing technical support, conducting training presentations, and facilitating communication between customers and product development. Ideal candidates will have a degree in civil or mechanical engineering, strong Italian and English skills, and be familiar with FEA software. Bologna Office, Italy | Full-time | Customer Support

• You have a degree in civil engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Ideally, you have already gained experience as a structural engineer and are familiar with structural analysis according to Eurocode.
• You are specialized in the field of structural engineering, for example, in steel structures, reinforced concrete structures, timber structures, or structural dynamics.
• You already have experience with FEA and frame analysis software, ideally with Dlubal Software programs, such as RFEM or RSTAB.
• You have very good command of spoken and written Italian and good English (at least B2).

Your Tasks

• Become a structural all-rounder: Your adventure begins with extensive training in the Dlubal programs and then direct contact with our users in Solution Engineering. Whether by email or phone – you are always available to solve technical inquiries about our programs and at the end of the day, to put a smile on our users' faces.
• Instructive presentations: You will also be available to our sales team for technical support, training, and presentations to ensure the optimal customer experience. You will also demonstrate our software at trade fairs, seminars, information and sales events, and also represent our company Dlubal Software.
• Link between application and development: You are the interface between our customers/users and our product development. You will gather vital customer feedback, share it with product engineers and play an active role in shaping the software.
• Expand our Dlubal Academy: By leveraging your expertise, our users will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the software. Transform customer inquiries into valuable technical articles, FAQ, and product features.

You support our customers in resolving their technical software requests, provide valuable assistance, and share your knowledge in the form of webinars and product demos.
