Overview

Do you enjoy learning how engineering meets sales? Are you curious about turning customer needs into technical solutions? Would you like to gain full project exposure — from first customer contact to product delivery?

YOUR MISSION

  • In this exciting opportunity, you report directly to the Head of Market Unit Assiwell, an international department of Angst+Pfister
  • Support acquisition of new customers and projects in core target industries, particularly in Italy, by analyzing customer needs, processes and applications, and contributing to customer development plans.
  • Assist in preparing customer visits, follow-ups, and building your own professional network; help maintain and expand relationships, including at C-level with managerial support.
  • Manage the sales funnel: from initial contact, RFQ handling, preparation, order confirmation, serial delivery, with appropriate support and oversight.
  • Verify and document customer specifications and technological requirements; assist in designing tailor-made solutions that match customer needs with our technical capabilities.
  • Support internal teams (e.g. procurement, production, quality, sales) by providing technical clarifications, cost-structure insights, and offer analysis; help drive continuous improvement to reduce costs, improve quality, and optimize processes.
  • Liaise and align with central/shared functions across the Assiwell Business Unit and Group organization, ensuring consistency in strategy, quality, reporting and communication; help facilitate internal coordination and knowledge sharing.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Engineering or technical degree (engineering, materials, manufacturing, mechanical, or related)
  • 1–3 years of early-career experience in an industrial field
  • Initial exposure to project work or customer-facing technical tasks
  • Interest in metal / stainless-steel manufacturing processes
  • Comfortable working in international and cross-functional environments
  • Driving license and willingness to conduct weekly customer visits
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Service- and customer-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian
  • Reliable, self-driven, positive, energetic, and willing to go the “extra mile”
