Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Strategy Specialist in Milan to support the definition, development, and monitoring of the Group's corporate and business strategies. You will partner with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, transformations, and performance improvements, delivering data-driven insights and executive-ready materials.

You will develop strategic plans, conduct market and competitive analyses, and build business cases and financial models to support strategic decisions,

Qualifications

• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills to craft CEO-level materials.
• Strong financial modeling including valuation and scenario analysis.
• Ability to build complex analyses and executive materials independently.
• Fluency in English required; other languages are a plus.
• Experience in top-tier strategy consulting or corporate strategy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development and updates of the strategic plan and BU strategies.
• Conduct market analyses, competitive intelligence, and benchmarking.
• Develop business cases, financial analyses, and economic evaluations.
• Collaborate on organic/inorganic growth, including M&A and partnerships.

Your contribution to Prysmian's Success: We are looking for a Strategy Specialist to join our office in Milan, reporting directly to VP Strategy Director.

The Strategy Specialist supports the definition, development, and monitoring of the Group's corporate and business strategies, partnering with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth, transformation, and performance improvement. The role contributes to strategic planning, market analysis, investment evaluations, and high-impact special projects by providing data-driven insights, actionable recommendations and preparing CEO/Board level presentations. In particular, you will:

• Support the development and continuous update of the Group's strategic plan and business unit strategies.
• Conduct market analyses, competitive intelligence activities, and industry benchmarking to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Develop business cases, financial analyses, and economic evaluations to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate in the definition and execution of organic and inorganic growth initiatives, including M&A projects, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities.
• Contribute to cross-functional business transformation projects, operational improvement initiatives, and organizational development programs.
• Synthesize complex information into clear executive messages, strategic recommendations, and prepare CEO/Board-level presentations.

You are the right fit if you have/are:

Technical Skills

• Advanced PowerPoint skills, with the ability to personally develop high-quality CEO-, Executive Committee-, and Board-level presentations from a blank page.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities, including valuation, scenario analysis, business case development, investment assessment, and sensitivity analysis.
• Hands-on ability to independently build complex analyses, financial models, presentations, and executive materials.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are considered a plus.

Preferred Background

• Proven of experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm, corporate strategy function, or a combination thereof.
• Exposure to industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, technology, or international B2B environments is preferred.
• Proven experience in strategic projects, including corporate and business strategic planning, industrial plans, go-to-market strategies, business transformation initiatives, organizational design, market assessments, competitive intelligence, business planning, investment evaluations, M&A transactions.

Gross annual salary no less than: € 60.000
