Job summary

Megatron Sensors, a leading manufacturer of electrical components, seeks a Supply Chain Manager to own end-to-end supply chain performance. You will manage a small team, oversee procurement, logistics, and strategic supplier management, and align material planning with production schedules to ensure reliable customer delivery.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong negotiation and analytics skills, and fluency in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing procurement and warehouse operations.
• Proven ability to lead a small team while combining strategic supplier work with hands-on management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, prioritisation and cross-functional problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP/SAP and practical inventory and MRP processes.
• Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory level B2 or above).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Own supply chain performance and decision-making to balance material availability, inventory, and cost.
• Set inventory policies and targets including safety stock and replenishment parameters.
• Balance cost, stock, and service levels to support on-time delivery.
• Lead supplier selection, development, and ongoing performance reviews.
• Coach and develop the Purchasing & Logistics Specialist and Warehouse Specialists.
• Govern SAP purchasing, planning and inventory processes and master data ownership.
• Coordinate with Finance on purchasing expenditure and stock valuation.
