Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Supplier Management.
• Experience managing suppliers in a manufacturing environment.

Aufgaben

• Ensure continuity of supply to support manufacturing requirements while meeting quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Manage purchase orders, monitor supplier deliveries, resolve receiving and invoicing issues, and maintain compliance with established purchasing processes.
• Proactively drive supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery of parts and materials to Applied Materials manufacturing sites.
• Partner closely with suppliers on demand and supply planning activities, including pull-in and push-out execution to support changing business requirements.
• Drive inventory optimization initiatives, including excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory reduction.
• Lead RFQ activities and execute sourcing strategies to achieve competitive pricing, while balancing quality, supplier capability, lead time, and risk considerations.
• Support and participate in commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost, lead-time, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Program Management teams to resolve supply chain challenges and support business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to mitigate supply risks and improve operational execution.
