Vertiv in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy, is seeking a Commodity Manager (Sheet metal) to drive material strategies for Mechanical commodities across EMEA. The role focuses on implementing commodity strategies to support business and financial performance, including supplier development and performance management, inventory control, and on-time delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and interest in procurement.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in development of the sourcing strategy and deploys it.
• Manages suppliers and resources to meet goals.
• Meets with supplier base to ensure high service level and plans to upgrade service.
• Supports trade, import/export and environmental compliance programs.
• Oversees contracts to ensure Vertiv policy compliance and fair business practices.
• Implements approved recommendations and ensures compliance with procedures.
• For assigned commodities, supports costing/price management and data analytics.
• Coordinates with R&D, Materials and Suppliers on ETO projects to optimize savings and inventory.
• Supports resolution of material shortages.
