Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Commodity Manager (Sheet metal) to drive material strategies for Mechanical commodities across EMEA, with a focus on Thermal Liquid Cooling projects. The role reports to the Director – Mechanical and is based in Piove di Sacco, Italy.

You will deploy commodity strategies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and optimize cost, inventory, and delivery performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and ESG considerations. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing the sourcing strategy and executes its deployment.
• Develops commodity goals, manages suppliers and resources to meet objectives.
• Meets with suppliers to ensure high service levels and plans to upgrade service.
