Job summary

Flowserve Chile S.p.A. is seeking a Sales Engineer to maintain and grow relationships with key customers and trade organizations.

You will understand purchase agreements, customer alliances and market trends while coordinating with Flowserve operations to boost selling effectiveness across internal and third-party channels. The role requires knowledge of rotating pumps and mechanical seals,along with proven ability to lead meetings, analyze ROI and present effectively to customers.

Qualifications

• BS or BA Degree in relevant field required.
• 5-7 years relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in oil & gas, power, paper or chemical industries is a plus (API 610 familiarity).
• Training in sales techniques, negotiations and business finance is desirable.
• Strong skills in leading meetings, setting agendas and follow-up actions.

Responsibilities

• Drive bookings levels to meet or exceed assigned bookings goal.
• Maintain regular, planned communication with key customers in the area supported.
• Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives.
• Serve customers as the primary contact for all business dealings, including proposals, deliveries, repairs, and warranty claims.
• Educate customers on product quality, features and uses using company marketing materials.
• Collaborate with application engineers, customer service and manufacturing to meet customer needs.
