Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Sales Engineer to build and maintain relationships with key customers and trade organizations, refining purchase agreements and aligning regional sales initiatives. You will coordinate with internal teams and channel partners to enhance selling effectiveness and capture market opportunities.

The role requires deep knowledge of rotating pumps and mechanical seals, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead demonstrations and client-facing presentations

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience; BS or BA degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in rotating equipment, such as pumps and mechanical seals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; training in sales techniques, negotiations and business finance.

Responsibilities

• Drive bookings levels to meet and/or exceed assigned bookings goal.
• Maintain regular, planned communication with key customers in the area you support.
• Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives to support organizational goals.
• Serve customers as a primary contact for all business dealings, addressing proposals, deliveries, repairs, quality, warranty claims, etc.
• Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing to ensure customers' needs are met.
• Demonstrate financial acumen to discuss business decisions, particularly ROI in support of solution selling.
