Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Sales Engineer in Lombardy, Italy, to grow relationships with key customers and channel partners. You will align proposals, deliveries, and service needs with regional sales objectives while collaborating with application engineers and manufacturing.

You will develop market strategies, demonstrate ROI to customers, and maintain records and reports. A BS/BA and 5–7 years of industry experience are required, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field is required.
• 5–7 years of sales experience in technical industries.
• Experience with rotating equipment such as pumps and mechanical seals preferred.
• Familiarity with API 610 and related industries is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation and meeting-facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive bookings to meet or exceed assigned goals.
• Maintain regular communication with key customers in the supported area.
• Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives.
• Serve as primary contact for customer concerns including proposals and deliveries.
• Collaborate with engineers, service and manufacturing to meet customer needs.
