Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Project Qualifications Planner to join the HQ Project Qualifications Management team in Milan. You will allocate and assess feasibility of qualification tests during tender phases and coordinate testing activities with internal and external labs.

The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in engineering, at least 4 years in EPC or project-based environments, and is fluent in English and Italian.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry or a project-based business.
• Fluency in English and Italian both written and spoken.
• Deep knowledge of Excel and MS Project, ability to manage databases.
• Organized mindset.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel (also abroad, up to 50%).
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Decision making attitude, critical thinking.
• Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Allocate and assess the feasibility of qualification tests during the tender phase.
• Support the bidding phase by identifying qualification slots and estimating related costs, timing and location.
• Organize and coordinate all the preliminary phases related to testing activities, including ordering and availability of materials, workforce, and laboratories.
• Oversee the planning and preparation of tests performed in External/Internal Laboratories.
• Have a portfolio overview to properly allocate slots and workforce according to priorities.
• Ensure on-time qualification execution through risk mitigation and performance monitoring.
• Interact with Internal Customers to ensure correct and timely execution of all tests.
