PLIXXENT in Italy is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to combine strategic category management with operational purchasing responsibility. Reporting to the Group Head of Strategic Procurement and local site management, you will secure supply, optimize costs, manage supplier relationships, and drive value creation across the group.

The role requires a Bachelor's or master's degree and at least 5 years in procurement or sourcing, with experience in the chemical industry and SAP S/4HANA.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or master's in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in the chemical industry, ideally in raw materials procurement.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier risk management, and market analysis.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and MS Office.
• Fluent English and Italian; additional European languages are a plus.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement the global category strategy.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and negotiate framework agreements.
• Monitor market trends, pricing developments, and supply risks.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives across the group.
• Monitor category performance through KPIs, supplier performance management, risk mitigation, and reporting to senior management.
• Ensure continuous availability of raw materials.
• Manage end-to-end local procurement operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure an efficient supply process.
• Drive procurement excellence by identifying cost-saving opportunities and policy compliance.
• Maintain accurate procurement data and reporting in SAP.
