Prysmian in Milan seeks a Global CAPEX Senior Buyer to drive strategic procurement for capital investments, partnering with Engineering, Operations and Finance to define sourcing strategies and competitive tenders. Lead end-to-end sourcing, supplier assessments, contract negotiations and governance across major CAPEX projects; travel 30–40%.

Fluent English and 7+ years in procurement required. Permanent, full-time with remote work flexibility.

Competenze

7+ years in procurement or CAPEX environments.
Experience with manufacturing, engineering or infra projects.
Commercial negotiation and supplier management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies.
Experience in cross-functional and international teams.
Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement tools.

Mansioni

Act as the procurement focal point for CAPEX projects during planning and sourcing.
Partner with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Project Teams and Finance to understand objectives.
Lead end-to-end sourcing from market assessment through contract award.
Plan and execute RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and supplier presentations.
Coordinate supplier communications and ensure evaluation against defined criteria.
Lead supplier due diligence, audits and capability reviews.
Negotiate major investment contracts and analyze TCO.
Ensure governance, compliance and complete sourcing documentation.
Support investment approvals and post-award contract management.
