ING Italia is seeking a Strategic Partnership Expert to define, set up and manage the partnership ecosystem for Business Banking. You will scout market opportunities, assess and prioritize them, and coordinate with internal teams and senior management to deliver a compelling customer proposition.

The role emphasizes negotiation, problem solving, and collaborative work in multi‑functional teams, with a base salary starting from €48,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Engineering or similar.

The Strategic Partnership Expert is responsible for the partnership ecosystem definition, set-up and management for the Business Banking target.

He/she will have to scout the market for new opportunities, assess and prioritize them, manage internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with other areas of the Bank and senior management to manage the partnership ecosystem.

The role requires excellent negotiation skills, problem solving and orientation to results. Most importantly this position also demands ability to work collaboratively in multi-functional teams and cross-teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the different departments to support the excution of partnership set-up for Business customers.
• Actively support Senior team members during negotiation with Partners, in all its phases
• Identify selection criteria and actively manage the whole life cycle for a partnership, from requirements definition to ultimately support in contract definition and communication strategy
• Contribute to the strategic vision of Business Banking, bringing its expertise to elevate the offering
• Continually assess the performance of launched partnerships, monitoring external market trends and competitor benchmark, to ensure a customer proposition as effective as possible
• Create requirements and business cases to support the evolution of the offering
• Participate in the design phase of partnership set-up, ensuring alignment with market trends and compliance with ING standards
• Collect market insights, ensuring adaptability and responsiveness to market dynamics

Required skills

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree, postgraduate or equivalent background in Economics, Management, Engineering and similar is desirable.
• 5+ years of working experience in banking/fintech/strategy consulting
• Proven track record in Partnership start-up and management
• A remarkable knowledge of national and international Banking/Fintech market is needed, including innovation trends, benchmark and competitors’ overview
• Solid experience of working autonomously in a dynamic and collaborative environment, identifying new potential business opportunities and improvements
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, together with ability to produce clear and concise presentations and interact directly with top management or senior colleagues

Contract offer

Working hours: Full time (37 hours per week)

Applicable Collective Labour Agreement: National Collective Labour Agreement for employees in the credit sector (NCLA)

Annual base salary starting from: 48.000€

Variable remuneration: in line with the applicable remuneration policies (with a target based on the role, outcomes linked to the Group, Business line/function, and individual performance)
