Tecnimont in Italy seeks a Materials Buyer to join our team in Catania. The role supports procurement activities for proprietary and critical equipment/materials across international projects.

You will coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers and project teams in a structured EPC environment, handling RFQs, supplier qualification, commercial evaluations, and PO issuance in SAP.

Competenze

• 4/6 years of Purchasing experience.
• Experience in international environments and end-to-end tender management.
• Experience in supplier negotiation and contract documentation.
• SAP knowledge for procurement and supplies management.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.

Mansioni

• Ensure suppliers are properly qualified within Group systems.
• Prepare bidder lists and issue RFQs for equipment/materials.
• Receive offers, track and archive in Group systems; evaluate offers with technical teams.
• Prepare commercial evaluations for MB Manager; support project budgeting.
• Issue purchase orders in SAP; manage framework agreements where applicable.
• Gather supplier data and report procurement activities; support cross-functional interfaces.
• Support project handover and post-order activities; assist in negotiations when needed.
