thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is seeking a Local Procurement professional to buy equipment and materials for project needs, ensuring financial success and selecting reliable, tech-forward suppliers. You will interact with other subsidiaries to explore markets and update the vendor list.

Key responsibilities include placing purchase orders, negotiating pricing and terms, handling supplier communications, and coordinating with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Service and Logistics to ensure

Competenze

• About 8 years of professional purchasing experience, preferably for engineering companies.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Italian (minimum B2).
• Ability to present complex issues in a simple way.
• Experience in international environments and with global teams.
• Solid knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems like SAP or MS Dynamics.

Mansioni

• Place purchase orders aligned with approved requisitions and project requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, Incoterms, payment terms and commercial conditions.
• Communicate with suppliers and manage contractual disruptions and documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Service and Logistics for seamless execution.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery reliability and commercial behaviour.
• Manage call-off orders and support development of framework agreements.
