Job summary

Scicon Sports in Mussolente, Italy, seeks an experienced Purchasing and Stock Planner to manage procurement, stock planning and logistics for its Italian operations. You will coordinate with Sales, Product and warehouses to optimize stock levels, plan replenishments and ensure timely supplier deliveries.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in business/logistics and at least three years of experience in purchasing or stock planning, with advanced Excel and ERP know-how (Oracle NetSuite).

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Economics or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing, stock planning, logistics or administrative roles.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; ERP experience (Oracle NetSuite advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels across products and locations; flag shortages, excess, and slow-moving items.
• Prepare replenishment proposals based on sales history, forecasts, seasonality and supplier lead times.
• Maintain reorder points, safety stock, and minimum order quantities in the management system.
• Support seasonal buying plans and collection launches with Sales and Product teams.
• Track forecast accuracy and stock availability; highlight risks to service levels before they occur.
• Support stock counts and investigate stock discrepancies with the warehouse.
• Enter, monitor and update purchase orders in Oracle NetSuite.
• Confirm order acknowledgements, prices, quantities and delivery dates with suppliers.
• Track domestic and international shipments; manage delays and resolve logistics issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
• Keep incoming stock information accurate for Sales, Customer Service and the warehouse.
• Review purchase orders, invoices and contracts with Accounting; three-way matching.
• Manage and file purchasing and shipping docs, including delivery notes, customs docs and packing lists.
• Prepare/update reports on POs, open orders, deliveries, stock coverage and shipping costs.
• Follow up on order status and delivery times, escalating risks early.
