Job summary

Bluestar Silicones International in Caronno Pertusella, Italy is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost objectives are met. You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Logistics, Quality and other functions to secure goods and services.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree, have purchasing experience in manufacturing, strong negotiation skills, English proficiency, and be comfortable with ERP and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Experience in Purchasing/Procurement, preferably manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing process for assigned materials and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers.
• Request, analyze, and compare quotations.
• Negotiate terms per company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, service, and delivery).
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Logistics, Quality, and other internal functions to ensure effective procurement management.
• Support supplier scouting and development of new sourcing opportunities.
• Contribute to cost optimization initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure accurate procurement-related documentation and data.
