Job summary

Dayco in Abruzzo, Italy seeks a senior HR leader to own and execute the full HR agenda across three plants and an R&D center. You will partner with local leadership, align with global HR priorities, and ensure compliance with Italian labor law.

Reporting to the Abruzzo Operations Director, you will drive workforce planning, talent development, industrial relations, compensation alignment, and HR systems. This role requires Italian and English fluency, multi-site experience, and willingness to

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HR leadership role.
• Deep, hands-on experience in Italian industrial relations; you have led union negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of Italian labor law, CCNL, and RSU/RSA dynamics.
• Experience operating in a matrix organization with global HR stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Abruzzo sites and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full HR agenda for the Abruzzo operations across three plants, an R&D center, and selected corporate teams.
• Act as a trusted strategic partner and coach to plant, site, and functional leaders on people matters.
• Own Italian industrial relations end-to-end, including union negotiations, RSU/RSA engagement, CCNL and company-level agreements, disputes, conciliation, and restructuring procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Italian labor law, national collective agreements, and company policies while managing complex employee relations cases.
• Drive workforce planning, organization design, talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and capability development.
• Partner with Total Rewards and HR Operations on compensation, benefits, payroll, HR systems, and pay transparency compliance.
• Collaborate with global HR teams and Italy HR to align local practices with global frameworks.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the local HR team with a culture of accountability, integrity, collaboration, and safety.
