Proofpoint, a global leader in cybersecurity, seeks a senior technical support professional in Milan to work with enterprise customers and guidance across Linux, messaging, and cloud services. You will lead technical engagements, drive crisis resolution, and ensure a top-notch customer experience.

The role requires extensive interaction with senior stakeholders and technical staff, with frequent on-site and remote client meetings.

Competenze

• 4+ years of industry experience in client-facing or professional services roles.
• Knowledge of data communication concepts and technologies, including email networking (Linux, SMTP, MySQL).
• Working knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange.
• Strong customer service and communications skills, both written and oral.
• Experience leading staff through crises and prioritizing tasks under pressure.
• Fluent German is mandatory for this position.

Mansioni

• Provide ongoing technical leadership and support to Proofpoint’s strategic customers with minimal direction.
• Manage and monitor support interactions; advocate for customers and escalate when needed.
• Handle crisis and incident response with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Meet with clients remotely and on-site to review status, issues, and upcoming releases.
• Create executive presentations detailing system performance, ROI, and recommended actions.
• Develop deep understanding of customers’ business needs and Proofpoint integration points.
