McBride is seeking a motivated Procurement Officer in Lombardy, Italy, to ensure on-time delivery of raw materials while maintaining optimal stock levels and cost. The role involves raising POs, managing supplier data in SAP, and coordinating with central purchasing to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in a relevant field and 1–2 years of material management experience, with strong negotiation skills and fluency in English. Italian language skills are a plus.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in economics, mathematics, or related field.
• 1–2 years of material management experience.
• Good negotiation skills and SAP/MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Raise purchase orders and scheduling agreements for raw materials.
• Manage source list and supplier info records.
• Follow up orders to ensure timely delivery and address payment or logistics issues.
• Evaluate suppliers (OTIF and Vendor Rating).
• Provide forecasts to suppliers and central purchasing as needed.
• Analyse non- and slow movers and propose cost-saving actions.
