AKQA, part of WPP, seeks a Financial Controller to lead day-to-day Finance operations, meet statutory and tax filings, and manage the external AP team with internal support.

The role covers month-end close, intercompany reconciliations, budgets and forecasts, and driving improvements in processes and controls while ensuring compliance.

You'll collaborate with HR and operations, report to the Finance Director, and operate in a hybrid in-office setting in Italy.

Mansioni

• Lead the month-end close in line with reporting deadlines and ensure timely financial and operational reporting.
• Own the month-end process, coordinating with finance team and SSC, including intercompany reconciliations and data integrity in Maconomy.
• Prepare and publish monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting and management proposals.
• Maintain budgets and forecasts by reviewing costs, payroll, and live project spend with HR and operations.
• Drive continuous improvements to finance processes, reporting and controls, ensuring compliance.
• Support audits, finance queries and ad hoc projects for the Finance Director and wider team.
