AKQA (part of WPP) is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee the Finance Department, ensuring timely statutory and tax filings, management accounts, and group reporting. You will manage the external AP team and collaborate with internal support to meet deadlines.

You will drive process improvements, maintain budgets, and coordinate with HR and operations. The role requires Italian and English proficiency and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Competenze

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Excel and financial analysis.
• Willing to learn SAP, Matisse and documentation workflows.
• Ability to interact professionally in Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Deliver the month-end close on deadlines with accurate reporting.
• Own the month-end process across the finance team and SSC, including intercompany reconciliations.
• Publish monthly, quarterly and year-end BFC reporting and related management proposals.
• Maintain budgets and forecasts by reviewing costs, payroll, and live project spend.
• Drive improvements to finance processes, reporting and controls for compliance.
• Support the Finance Director and assist audits, acting as a point of contact for finance queries.
