Aws Emea Sarl Italy seeks a Strategic Engagement Leader to work as a strategic right hand to the Europe South Area Sales Director for Enterprise and Public Sector. The role extends the leader’s reach, drives execution, and orchestrates priorities across the sales organization to advance high-stakes deals.

The role emphasizes influence over authority, ensuring alignment and progress across cross-functional teams, and importing best practices from EMEA.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise technology sales or closely related roles.
• Proven ability to influence at C-level (CIO/CTO/CDO/CFO/CEO) regularly.
• Experience shaping high-complexity, multi-party pursuits.
• Experience in business development or BD roles aligned with sales strategy.

Responsibilities

• Engage on high-complexity deals to unlock progress in the portfolio.
• Coordinate priorities and acting as a bridge across multiple teams.
• Prepare the Area Sales Director for key engagements and reviews.
• Establish and propagate deal-qualification and pipeline discipline.
