Job summary

Marionnaud Group in Milan is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead demand planning, stock optimization and service levels across stores. You will drive forecasting accuracy, manage a team, and coordinate with Trade, suppliers and logistics to support launches and peak periods.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Supply Chain / Demand Planning, strong forecasting and analytics, and fluent English. This is a senior role in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain / Demand Planning (with team management).
• Strong forecasting, inventory management and supply chain processes expertise.
• Analytical capability and data-driven mindset with stakeholder management.
• Fluent English and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the demand planning process with accurate forecasts.
• Own inventory strategy and stock optimization balancing availability and cost.
• Manage and develop a team focusing on performance and growth.
• Monitor service levels in stores and overall product availability.
• Drive actions on slow-moving stock and improve inventory rotation.
• Translate demand plans into purchasing and replenishment strategies.
• Coordinate with Trade and suppliers to ensure right assortment.
• Collaborate with logistics providers for warehouse and transport efficiency.
• Support launches, peak periods, and new store openings.
• Provide clear insights and reporting on KPIs (forecast accuracy, stock coverage, turnover, OSA).
