Job summary

Würth IT is seeking a Senior Controller in northern Italy to act as a trusted business partner, turning data into decisive insights and guiding budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. You will optimize KPI-based reporting, collaborate with global stakeholders, and advance digitalization of finance processes.

The role requires 5+ years in Controlling, strong SAP FI/CO know-how, and fluency in Italian, German and English.

Qualifications

Degree in Business Administration, Controlling, Finance, Financial Management or a comparable qualification
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Controlling with solid accounting knowledge
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations
Ability to work independently, in a structured and results-oriented manner
Entrepreneurship, pragmatic approach, focus on continuous improvements
Advanced MS Office skills, SAP FI/CO; experience with reporting and BI tools is a plus
Strong presentation skills and ability to engage stakeholders at different levels
Thriving in an international environment and cross-functional collaboration
Affinitiy for IT and digitalization of finance and controlling processes
Commitment to continuous personal and professional development
Fluency in Italian, very good German and English

Responsibilities

Acting as a trusted business partner to management on financial and operational matters
Developing and optimizing management reports, KPI-based steering instruments, and reporting processes
Performing cost, profitability and ad-hoc analyses with clear recommendations
Driving budgeting, forecasting and mid-term planning with business leaders
Analyzing monthly/annual results including contribution margins and key drivers
Identifying plan-versus-actual deviations and proposing corrective actions
Evaluating business cases, investments and pricing models for profitability
Improving data quality, reporting transparency and controlling processes
Collaborating with Project Controlling, Finance and international teams to harmonize processes
Driving digitalization and automation of reporting and controlling
